Belfast, Northern Ireland’s capital city, is a fantastic place to live and work. The city is packed with history, culture, exciting events, great food, super shopping and, as a port city famous as the birthplace of the RMS Titanic, you might even spot a ship or two. You’ll find the energetic vibe of a fast paced, thriving business environment without a “big city” feel and some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. We’re not the only ones who think so:
- There are more than 8 million visitor trips to Belfast each year.
- Trip Advisor cited Belfast as the best value UK city break, and the Lonely Planet advised their readers that they’d better get to Belfast before the rest of the world comes.
- The Financial Times listed Belfast as one of the “Top 10 places in the world” to hold a conference or major event.
- Titanic Belfast was opened in 2012 and was recently named the world’s best tourist attraction at Tourism Oscars above attractions such as the Las Vegas strip and Peru’s Machu Picchu.
- The chief editor of Le Guide du Routard described Ulster people as the friendliest and most courteous folk he has encountered on his many travels all over the world.
- 93 cruise ships carrying 110,000 passengers stopped in Belfast in 2017.
- Tourism is expected to double in Belfast by 2020
GolfNow is an extremely modern and welcoming place to work. My favourite part about working for here would be the amazing office. It has a relaxed atmosphere that allows new staff to mix with other colleagues. When I started the other staff were friendly and made an effort to get to know me. The company is always developing and has many exciting projects coming up. As a keen golfer this is a great company to work for, with a variety of golfing perks. The company is great for ensuring you succeed within your new role. I like the level of interest shown in my personal progression within the company.

Belfast’s Titanic Quarter is one of the world’s largest urban-waterfront regeneration projects. Master-planned over 185 acres on the site where RMS Titanic was designed and built, Titanic Quarter is redefining what it means to work, live, play and stay in central Belfast and is rapidly growing as the technological hub of the region.
Belfast’s nightlife has flourished in recent years with the opening of many new clubs and bars throughout the city. There are over 300 bars and clubs, ranging from hip to traditional pubs. The most popular areas for evening entertainment are the historic Cathedral Quarter, the Linen Quarter and Queen’s Quarter of the city.
There is also a great choice of festivals and events all year round. From music and food to history and culture, there’s something for everyone in Belfast and the surrounding areas. Visit-Belfast.com has great up to date information about all there is to see and do.
Working for GolfNow has been amazing so far. I love that the company still has a real start up spirit, and that I have had the chance to get involved in different, exciting projects across the business. The best thing about working here is the people – everyone is incredibly warm and friendly and I really look forward to coming to work every day!
GolfNow has allowed me to utilise my skills across multiple areas of the business.
