Belfast
Award winning premises:
Our offices at City Quays 1 are the Belfast Chamber of Trade & Commerce “Best Office Premises” of 2018.
What sets our premises apart from others is our adoption of agile principles and focus on supporting productivity in ways that really compliment individual preferences. We seek to disrupt the traditional notions of what an office environment should operate and look like.
Our open plan layout allows team members and visitors to benefit from stunning views across the River Lagan and the impressive surrounding architecture of a thriving business community. We moved into the space in October 2016 after months of planning the layout, design concept, facilities and furnishings –
We strive to:
- Create an environment which enhances team member experience, enables productivity and optimizes availability of meeting spaces.
- Achieve a contemporary interior design and feel with optimum focus on space and light while still being a welcoming, friendly environment.
- Disrupt the status quo and challenge traditional notions of what an office space should look like by applying and embedding agile principles.
- Bring the spirit of the game of golf into the workplace and build in facilities that encourage socialization and building relationships.
We also wanted the office interior itself to connect strongly with the game and so being in the office is reminiscent of being on a golf course. Our “Course Map” which is displayed on entry to the space, sets out the zones (eg front nine, back nine, pro shop and fairway) and our “Rules of Play & Course Etiquette” (insert link to rules of play) encourage all team members for example to:
“Make the most of the environment and contribute to the principles of agility by using all the different workspaces available to you. Break away from the status quo of sitting at the same desk every day and looking at the same old view—take a fresh approach and explore the course while improving your game”.

What’s the Culture Club? It’s a group of GolfNow employees who volunteer their time and creativity to help ideate, plan, communicate and execute FUN, employee-focused events. In other words the Culture Club is partly responsible for making sure GolfNow is a great place to work!
What’s does the Culture Club do? They’re tasked with dreaming up ideas for fun events, planning and executing them, as well as overseeing the Driving Range whiteboard content in the Orlando HQ office, monthly putting contests and more—all with a goal of getting employees to participate in fun activities at all GolfNow office locations.
How can you get involved? We’re always looking for volunteers to represent each department to help with Culture Club activities. If you are interested, just ask your Champion or you PAL how you can get involved.
*NOTE: Your involvement is contingent upon the approval of your manager.

GOLF Gym
One of the many benefits you’ll learn about as part of your orientation is the on-site fitness center at GOLF World HQ in Orlando.
Available 24/7, the fitness center is equipped with free weights, cardio equipment, and it features fully outfitted locker rooms with showers. Available only to team members, just use your employee badge (once you have completed the release and waiver form) to stop in before work, on your lunch break, at the end of the day—any time you like.
To gain access to the fitness center, simply complete the release and waiver form and review the list of fitness room rules and policies, all available on the GOLF intranet.
Plus, if you work in the field or at one of our other major locations, NBCUniversal has teamed up with a number of fitness partners to offer discounted membership rates. To find out more about gym and fitness options available in your area, check out this brochure.
Contact HR if you have any questions. Be sure to enjoy convenient ways to exercise and unwind!
Golf Societies
Golf Society membership is open to all Team Members. We consider understanding and having the opportunity to play the game as being vitally important – this contributes to one of our key company goals to GROW THE GAME and gives an appreciation of our customers and industry.
When you join be sure to let us know about your level of experience in the game of golf. We accommodate and develop all levels of ability.
Beginners Golf Society
In 2017 we introduced the Beginners Society. This is supported by our more experienced players who provide lessons in the simulator and coach on course or at the range during outings. We have also amassed a “lending library” of golf clubs for our learners through donations of spare equipment.
Experienced Golf Society
This long established group get on course frequently and participate in a series of competitions with prizes available as well as an annual full staff away day.
Office Attire
You’ve heard the phrase “Dress for the job you want” before, although wearing your Wonder Woman costume to the office is probably not what they had in mind. The dress code here at GOLF is business casual and leaves room for you to flex your style. And we aim for comfort on Fridays by wearing jeans (if you want, that is).
But hang onto that costume for next Halloween. We’ve got contests to plan for.
